Amy Butler is coming to the Craft Barn in August!

We are very excited to announce that world famous home and textile designer Amy Butler is visiting the Black Sheep Craft Barn in Warrington. She will be here on 12th fabulous colour workshop during the day and an inspirational
lecture ‘Creative Evolution’ in the evening. Tickets are available for both.

Create Your Own Colour Story Workshop

10.30am – 4.30pm • £100 per person

Join Amy for this colourful image inspired workshop packed with ideas, techniques and inspiring insights on building unique and signature colour palettes for your design work. Amy will begin with an inspirational presentation on how she works with colour and creates her unique colour palettes. Then Amy will guide you as you create a collage from your personal inspirational images, fabrics, ephemera and photos. From this collage you will pull specific colours to create your own unique colour story.

Keep in mind; you don’t have to be an artist, crafter or designer to participate. Everyone will discover their unique ability to sense, see and experience colour!

Materials

A wide range of paint sample cards from your local hardware store. Amy recommends you bring up to 100 swatches, but you can bring as many as you want to. You also need to bring an array of inspirational materials to create the collage. These items can include (but are not limited to):

- Magazine tears

- Printed photos

- Fabric swatches

- Ephemera that will be easy to collage with - ribbon, washi tape, etc

Refreshments and a finger buffet lunch will be provided on the day.

In this slideshow presentation Amy will share her inspiration and thoughts on her continuing personal creative journey, including heartfelt stories and stunning visuals with the hopes of inspiring you to step into your dreams for a beautiful life!
