After collaborating with Stylecraft for 20 years, Jane has
launched a beautiful, commemorative book featuring an exclusive new colourway for Fruit Garden in Stylecraft’s Naturals Organic Cotton, called Red House.
The book takes the reader through Jane’s creative journey for the design and tells the story of May Morris and her embroideries. It is illustrated with amazing archive images courtesy of the Victoria and Albert Museum, the National Museums of Scotland and the William Morris Society.
“Last year was such a turbulent time, so I wanted to create a keepsake book to mark how crochet and the Fruit Garden CAL helped people,†says Jane.
Jane has also collected testimonials from crocheters across the world, who describe what the project meant to them and how they feel about what they achieved in a year like no other.
“Jane is one of the most talented crochet designers of our era and we are immensely proud to be able to work with her on such an exciting project,†says Annabelle Hill, Sales and Marketing Director at Stylecraft.
The CAL is available for free on the Stylecraft website, and the book also provides written instructions, step-bystep images and exclusive charts for each of the elements in the blanket, as well as the yarn information for each of the four colourways.
The Fruit Garden Crochet Blanket is on sale at
www.janiecrow.com and local yarn shops for £12.95.
