Sandra Sell took over the Wool Cabin from her mum in 1996 and now has two shops in Clacton-on-Sea and Frinton-on-Sea, Essex. As well as yarns she stocks fabric, household linens, babywear and haberdashery – the Frinton premises had been a haberdashers since 1909.
“We have extensive crochet and knitting knowledge and we aim to have different yarns at each shop,†says Sandra. You’ll find Sirdar, Stylecraft, King Cole, Rico Design, Wendy and Woolcraft among others, plus crochet workshops with “lovely and patient†tutor, Jo! Find Sandra on Facebook under The Wool Cabin.
