I have to begin with Alessandra Poggiagliomi's fabulous Huge Scarf which Claire had great fun styling at the photoshoot! It combines a nod

to the good old granny square and pulls it right into 2022 with pops of colour and a wonderfully oversized look. Cassie Ward's beautiful Windy Beach Jumper, with its wide ribbing and pure wool yarn, gives a gentle introduction to colourwork and Simone Francis has created the perfect shawl-collared cardigan, including lovely deep pockets - we all love pockets!

We've also included plenty of really warm accessories for layering up on icy walks. The Anfa Dickie, made in chunky roving yarn, is a clever extra layer for under winter coats, while Emma Varnam's pretty mittens are ideal if you're just starting your crochet journey. And who could resist the delightful puddle-jumping doll by Sarah-Jane Hicks? Resplendent in red wellies with her yellow raincoat and rainbow jumper, she embodies all that is joyful about being outside in wet and windy weather!
