There’s more than a little bit of sparkle in this issue as we celebrate the festive season with a retro disco theme.

We’re all feeling the need for some bright colour and a touch of glitter, and many of our patterns this month are easily adaptable to use up your stash yarns and save a little money.

Take it to the max with Kwannie Cheng’s fabulous tree decorations that celebrate the nostalgia of the roller disco.

And Millie Masterston has designed the ultimate cocktail stirrers with fabulous glitter ball tops. Add in reusable crackers, sequinned hair accessories, retro bunting and the ultimate New Year’s Eve crown and you’ve enough quick-hook decorations to satisfy the biggest party crowd!

There are lots of fabulous wearables to create too. Lauren Willis’s batwing Dancing in December jumper and Lucy George’s Shimmer Fringe Jacket are both size inclusive and made in affordable, easy to source yarns.
