It’s definitely summertime now – though the great British climate seems to be doing its best to deny it, with frequent downpours as I write this! Whatever the weather, though, we’ve got the project for you this issue. For overcast days like today, wrap up with our gorgeous motif-based cardigan from Stylecraft, or cosy up with one of our pretty shawls. If it’s nice enough for a trip to the beach, then Marta Mitchell’s glorious Summer Cardigan on page 44 is perfect, ideal for slinging on over a strappy dress or swimming costume. And for those days when it’s lovely out and you just want to enjoy the feel of the sun on your skin, then Annelies Baes’s lacy Eowyn Top, with its pretty scalloped edging, is just the thing.

It’s not just garments though – we’ve also got a couple of colourful tote bags to ensure you can always carry your crochet with you, a stylish summer cloche in paper yarn, gorgeous homewares including Dedri Uys’s multicoloured memory blanket, plus an adorable selection of designs for children.
