Christmas is coming…
The holiday season is creeping ever closer, and I’ve been planning out my seasonal crochet over the past few weeks to ensure I make the most of every bit of time! I should probably be prioritising presents, but I have to admit that top of my list at the moment is Cassie Ward’s stunning Granny Jumper – that perfect shade of Christmas green has me captivated! I’ve also been eyeing up Sarah Reed’s pudding-themed tea set, which is just the thing for an instant festive feel on my coffee table!
We’ve also got a great selection of patterns that will make for perfect presents, from Elisabeth Davis de Herraiz’s stunning shawl to Dedri Uys’s colourful basket set. And if you’re short on time, then Helda Panagary’s pretty bracelets are a super-quick make that can be hooked in any recipient’s favourite colours.
Of course, one thing I’ve absolutely got to make time for is Sarah Shrimpton’s adorable Rudolph amigurumi – every mantelpiece needs one! Finished off with safety eyes and that glowing red nose from this issue’s free amigurumi notions set, he’s a simple project that should be done in a few evenings. Perfect for a foggy Christmas Eve!
Merry Christmas, and happy crocheting…
