Cloudbusting Wallhanging by Kath Webber

Inspired by sunsets reflecting on the North Sea, this hanging features the pastel colours and grey clouds that make up the East Anglian sky at dusk.

MATERIALS

* Wool and the Gang Crazy Sexy Yarn, 100% wool, 200g/80m /87yds

Yarn A: Eucaplyptus Green x 1 ball

Yarn B: Lilac Powder x 1 ball

Yarn C: Primary Grey x 1 ball

* Wool and the Gang Shiny Happy Cotton,100% cotton, 100g/142m /155yds

Yarn D: Malibu 191 x 1 ball

Yarn E: Cameo Rose 14 x 1 ball

Yarn F: Turquoise Waters 179 x 1 ball

* 5mm & 10mm hooks

* Dowl, cane or stick, 100cm/40in

* Scraps of roving/super chunky yarn in yellow and white (optional)


YARN ALTERNATIVES

You can substitute super chunky yarn with any super chunky roving-style wool, and the cotton with any cotton aran-weight yarn.


DESIGNER BIOGRAPHY

Kath is a long-time part of the Inside Crochet family, but these days concentrates on her three children and crumbling Victorian home in Essex. Kath is borderline obsessed with finding the perfect mustard-coloured yarn and loves to design textural crochet for the home.
