Ewelease Sun Hat by Joanne Scrace (pattern featured in issue 67 of Inside Crochet magazine)
This impressive looking sun hat is simple to make and works up surprisingly quickly.
● Jarol Crochet Cotton (Crochetta), 100% cotton, 60g/366m/400yds
Shade: Ecru x 1 ball
● 2mm hook
● Spray starch
● A balloon
Work 32tr and 14 rows to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 2mm hook, or size needed to achieve tension.
To fit: XS (S, M, L, XL).
Finished head circumference: 40.5 (46, 51, 56, 61)cm/16 (18, 20, 22, 24)in.
As a guide, it will fit baby (child, teen, small adult, large adult).
Choose a size slightly bigger than your head, measured around head, just above your eyebrows.

This hat is worked from the crown down, with RS always facing. Turning chains count as a stitch throughout.
