Freda Bag by Jo Bodley

This is a cute and simple bag that creates a natural, mesh-like fabric, perfect for embellishing with a ribbon.


MATERIALS
● Aran weight cotton yarn, 100g
Yarn A: Navy x 1 ball
Yarn B: Cream x 1 ball
(or Orange x 2 balls, for a one-colour bag)
● 5mm hook
● Ribbon, 140cm/55in long
● Yarn needle

YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any DK to Aran weight cotton or cotton mix yarn to achieve a similar effect. Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton would work perfectly.

    Are these meant to be dtr? I made the bag as per instructions using trebles and it’s way too small. Picture looks it’s double trebles.
