MY FOXY VALENTINE

Why not show a friend how much you appreciate them with a sweet Valentine fox from Emma Varnam?

MATERIALS

• Oddments of DK yarn (sample uses Rico Design Essential Cotton DK in Red Brick 72 (A) and White 80 (B))
• 3mm crochet hook
• 9mm plastic safety eyes with backing
• 8mm black bead
• A small amount of beads or pulses
• Tapestry needle
• Fibrefill or stuffing of choice

SIZE

Approx. 10cm tall.
 

PATTERN NOTES

Work in continuous rounds, do not join or turn unless otherwise instructed. When you have completed R20, place a small circle of cardboard the same size as the base at the bottom of the fox, then place a few beads or pulses in the base, and start stuffing the body of the fox. At R32 insert the eyes. This is so much easier than later when you have very few stitches.
