Inspired by the lines found in sea stacks like The Old Man of Hoy, off the Orkney Isles, the Hoy Bag is designed to be contemporary, durable and timeless.


MATERIALS

• Garthenor Organic Beacons, 75% Polwarth wool/ 25% Romney wool, 50g/135m/148yds

Yarn A: Tuscany x 3 balls

Yarn B: Hoi x 1 ball

Yarn C: Baked Crimson x 1 ball

• 3mm hook

• Stitch markers

• Yarn needle

• Button snap/bag closure

• Strap of your choice

• Coordinating thread


YARN ALTERNATIVES

Any yarn of the same weight will work well for this design. If you use a different yarn blend, your tension may vary and it is possible that you will not have enough yarn to complete all of the bag.
