Ithaca Bag by Jo Bodley
Inspired by Penelope, Queen of Ithaca, and the classic â€œGreek Keyâ€ pattern, this handy market bag is quick to make in filet mesh with a thick cotton yarn.

Shade: Mouse Grey 028 x 6 balls
â— 5.5mm hook

You can use any aran weight cotton yarn for a similar effect.
Work 15dc and 16 rows to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 5.5mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
Folded bag measures approximately 46cm/18in across, and 36cm/14Â¼in from base up to handle shaping.
Handle (including shaping) is 80cm/31Â½in long.
