Fix up your favourite clothes with these simple crocheted patches.
MATERIALS
For woolly tattoos:
â— Eden Cottage Yarns 4ply yarns (assorted)
â— 3mm hook
â— Needle and co-ordinating thread
â— Buttons and beads
For patch and cuff:
â— Rooster Almerino DK, 50% alpaca/50% Merino wool, 50g/113m/124yds
Yarn A: Gooseberry 207 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Brighton Rock 211 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Starfi sh 218 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Light House 220 x 1 ball
Yarn E: Ocean 208 x 1 ball
(small oddments only needed of each colour)
â— 3.5mm hook
YARN ALTERNATIVES
Any yarn can be used to make these projects. Use a similar fibre content to the original garment to avoid the embellishment distorting when washed.
TENSION
Exact tension is not essential for these projects.
MEASUREMENTS
Elbow patch is approximately 15cm/6in long.
