Sky Shawl by Annelies Baes

Find the pattern in issue 61 of Inside Crochet.

The body of this shawl represents the softness of the sky, while the edging is full of life and little dancing clouds.

● Malabrigo Silky Merino, 50% silk/50% Merino wool, 50g/137m/150yds
Shade: Celeste 417 x 6 skeins (unfortunately this colour has been discontinued, we recommend Turquoise 435 as an alternative)
● 4mm hook
● Yarn needle
● Pins and mat for blocking

You can use any DK weight yarn for this shawl – ensure you choose a drapey yarn to achieve the same effect.

Work 22 sts and 12 rows to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 4mm hook, or size required to obtain tension. Exact tension is not critical for this project.

Length approx: 197cm/79in.
Width approx: 33cm/13in at widest point.
