Inspired by the mute, sun-bleached colours of late summer, this bag captures the hippie spirit of Woodstock and is the perfect slouchy size for outdoor adventures.

Pattern featured in issue 69 of Inside Crochet magazine.
MATERIALS
● Drops Paris, 100% cotton, 50g/75m/82yds
Yarn A: Off White 17 x 5 balls
Yarn B: Mustard 41 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Rust 46 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Green 43 x 1 ball
● 4.5mm hook
● Magnetic snap closure, 18mm/1in
● Faux leather adjustable strap,
120cm/47in
● Two D-rings, 3.75cm/1½in (from www.u-handbag.com)
● Medium weight cotton fabric, 50cm/20in
● Matching thread and sewing needle

YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any DK weight yarn to achieve a similar effect, although we advise a childfriendly yarn that is soft and easy to wash.

TENSION
Exact tension is not critical for this project.

MEASUREMENTS
Completed bag measures approximately 27cm/10¾in in diameter and 4cm/1½in deep.

DESIGNER BIOGRAPHY
Kath is involved in a deep love affair with cotton yarns. She also loves her sewing machine and clogs, and hates wasps and carpal tunnel syndrome.
