Penny, of planetpenny.co.uk lives in a cottage on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, with her husband Tim and their dachshund and tabby cat, Higgins and Henry.
"I've always been a maker," she says, having learned to crochet and patchwork from her grandmother, learned how to knit when expecting her first son and spent her three children's childhood assembling toys and clothes from scraps and recycled oddments.
Now with a degree in Visual Studies, Penny spends much of her time splitting her attention between yarn, textiles, fibre arts, recipes, books, patterns, the odd exhibition, oh and her blog, Planet Penny where she regales her readers with tales of all of the above. She also sells patterns through the Planet Penny Etsy shop.
