Originally from Latvia, Vita Apala now lives in Italy where she raises her young family and runs her online shop at www.monpetitviolon.etsy.com.
Yet, as well as her Etsy shop, Vita, who lives by her tag line of 'live…love…crochet…' maintains her blog at monpetitviolon.com, and offers readers plenty of free patterns and tips to boot.
Vita Apala's Inside Crochet patterns from 2013 were big favourites of ours, including her Hat and Booties set from issue 40, so if you're also a fan of Vita's style and especially love baby booties then you could do a lot worse than jumping head first into her blog.
