Barbara Smith came back to crochet after a decade away in April 2011, when a severe cold kept her confined to her bed for two weeks.

Despite her blog being written in English, Barbara hails from Germany and resides in the village of Krausenbechhofen in northern Bavaria, or 'K-town' as it's known to the locals, alongside her husband John.
