Yarndale organisers Emma and Kate were keen
to use Brenda’s design to shine a light on British wool, its sustainability and
traceability. They asked Yarndale exhibitors who are British Wool licensees to
collaborate in creating Brenda. Barefaced Knits, John Arbon Textiles, The
Modern Crafter, Wensleydale Longwool Sheep Shop and Woolyknit all contributed
their favourite yarns from their British wool range in order to showcase the
variety, versatility and splendour of wool produced in the UK, and to
highlight the rich variety of ways the different yarns can be
used.
Look out for Brenda at Yarndale on 28–29 September at Skipton Auction Mart. Tickets are available now from yarndale.co.uk.
