With the launch of a stunning new crochet-along that officially kicks off on 16 October and runs over four weeks, promising to be a vibrant antidote to darker evenings.
The Festival of Lights blanket is a motif-based design incorporating a variety of stitch techniques, which has been created by Jessica Wifall as an ode to light festivals and natural spectacles around the world, from the Northern Lights to fireworks displays. The design is suitable for everyone from adventurous beginners to advanced crocheters.
The blanket can be made in either Scheepjes Metropolis, an extra-fine Merino blend, or in GOTS-certified organic Scheepjes Organicon cotton yarns. Kits in both yarns are available now from Scheepjes stockists, and you can join the friendly community in the official Scheepjes Facebook group to meet fellow CAL participants and interact with the CAL designer.
