These yarns are plied to reduce the risk of pilling, and as alpaca is hypoallergenic they’re great for baby knits or people who are sensitive to wool.
If you’re after a little extra luxury, try the Askham 4ply blend, which with 70% baby alpaca and 30% mulberry silk is a real treat for your crochet hook!
