Designed by Rohn Strong, Rosalind is the perfect cardigan for those dipping their toe into the wonderful world of crochet cables.
Featured as this month's cover design, we're delighted to preview Rohn's latest masterpiece. Made in Rowan Pure Wool Aran (Cedar), this piece will see you through winter in style.
Here's what Rohn had to say about it:
"This sweater really came about systematically. I wanted a crochet cardigan that was reminiscent of Chanel. I knew I needed the sweater to be tailored, fitted, with a bit of negative ease, and to give the jacket a bit of structure, some cables were thrown in. The cardigan is worked from the bottom up in pieces for even more structure. I chose Rowan Pure Wool Aran really because of the colour, but the structure of the yarn was strong enough for the cables and it bloomed beautifully after blocking. So it was a perfect fit!Â
I have to say out of all of my designs for Inside Crochet, this is probably my favorite. Aesthetically, it really captures and pleases me. I mean look at those shoulders! So beautiful!"
