Around 70 talented crochet artists from around the world put up their amazing creations against a backdrop of picturesque buildings and cobbled streets. Six artists from the UK took part: Eleonora Tully (@coastalcrochet), Gillian Harris (@gilliangladrag), Kymm Holloway (@theyarnhacker), Clare Gordon (@claregetscrafty), Vanessa Mooncie (@vanessamooncie) and Di Burns (@purlqueens – don’t miss Purl Queens’ fab Remembrance Sunday poppy installation in Folkestone!). The event was organised by UnFiloCheUnisce, a knitting group in Italy.
They are selling the works for charity, and planning another event in August next year! Maybe time for a holiday to Italy?
