Starfish Beach Bag (as featured in issue 67 of Inside Crochet magazine)

MATERIALS
â— Debbie Bliss Rialto DK, 100% wool, 50g/105m/115yds
Yarn A: Grass 58 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Banana 57 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Pink 42 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Ecru 02 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Coral 55 x 1 ball
â— Rooster Almerino DK, 50% alpaca/50% Merino wool, 50g/113m/124yds
Yarn E: Beach 217 x 1 ball
â— 3.5mm hook
â— Yarn needle
â— 50cm/20in cotton fabric (for lining)
â— Beads (optional)
TENSION
Exact tension is not essential for this design.
MEASUREMENTS
Finished bag is approximately 38 x 33cm/15 x 13in.
PATTERN NOTES
Make sure you work stitches as directed into the turning chains at the end of the row. If you’d like to make the bag bigger or smaller, the multiple of chains you need for Long Wave Stitch is 14 + 2. If you can sew, it’s a good idea t make the lining. It will make the bag and the handles much stronger. It’s best made on the sewing machine, but hand stitching is fine.
