Supporting the Meadow Farm Wool Project

Date: 5th May 2015 | Category: News

The Meadow Farm Wool Project gives crocheters and knitters the opportunity to ‘rent’ a Jacob sheep for a year, and when the fleeces are spun the renter is sent 500g of the spun yarn.  In addition, this project supports two charities – The Teenage Cancer Trust and Headway.

With excellent provenance for British grown and spun yarn, and the opportunity to support two charities there was no stopping Valerie’s  enthusiasm.  Not only did she rent a sheep but, recognising that any new wool project would need some pattern support, she designed an exclusive crochet motif for the project which will be available to all renters.

More information on the project can be found here:  mfwoolproject.co.uk
