In issue 58, we asked our readers...
What is your favourite type of project to crochet?
Winner!
Tracey Sherwood-Farnfield
"Clothes would be my first choice, although I spend a lot of time making baby items. I do like a good blanket too for mindless TV crochet."
Issue 57 winner:
Terry J Davis
"Many times. I keep inexpensive hooks and yarn in my WIP bag. It never fails that someone watching me crochet expresses an interest. When they do, I offer to teach them right then and there. I let them have yarn and a hook and work with them on a simple granny square. Some get frustrated but a lot catch on quickly and before you can say “dang I have to frog†they are sitting and crocheting with me."
Issue 56 winner:
Vicky Wootten
"Definitely the adjustable ring (aka magic loop), my chain rings were never tight enough but this technique really is magic."
Issue 55 winner:
Val Melton
"No, and I always have people comment on whatever I am making, and some ask questions. I even gave a lesson once while waiting in a waiting room. The lady went right out after her appointment and bought yarn and a hook!"
Issue 54 winner:
Jo Daffern
"I always take my little project bag with me. My
travel projects of choice this year are mini keyring purses – can
finish one on the train to the seaside, and decorate on the way back!"
Issue 53 winner:
Sue Cross-Bordian
"My husband wanted a hat made by yours truly, so I made him one. It didn’treally turn out as I would have liked, but he loves it."
