Ashley Comforter

Issue: Issue 49, 2014 | Original Article: Ashley Comforter

On round 27 of the head stuff the piece. Make sure it is

fairly firm but no stuffing can escape. Complete the final round and fasten off leaving a long length of yarn to sew to the body. The head should be placed where the 10dc of the final rounds were created. Using the front and back loops of the 10dc of the body, sew on the head. The completed ear is a circle. Fold the circle in half so a semicircle is formed. Either dc or sew the edges together so the semi circle shape is held. Repeat for the other ear. Line and pin the ears and head and sew on. Using the scrap of black yarn, embroider eyes. Sew arms onto the side of the body and weave in any loose ends.
