I am a very experienced crocheter of more than 40 years.
l have been "tearing my hair out" over this pattern.
I have managed to overcome the poor pattern writing until row 29, which l have been puzzling over for a whole afternoon and undone twice. I finally realised the error was at the beginning of the row with 7dc. needed instead of 5dc.
The problem now is, do l continue with this pattern od give up on it. This wool is very hqrd to undo, so l would probably have to scrap it.
ln view of the number of rows with errors, l would say this pattern is a total disaster.

I agree Jackie. This pattern is terrible. Such a shame as its a lovely shawl.
I'm up to row 33 and think there must be an error here too. Can anyone confirm this?
