Living in the UK we’re fortunate enough to experience all the four seasons, and recently I have been taking some time to connect with these, noticing the sounds, smells and sights of the time of year and learning more about the folklore and traditions that our pagan and druid ancestors practised centuries ago. Imbolc has passed now, and the promise of spring awaits – a most exciting time even after a mild winter! And so this issue of Inside Crochet celebrates the anticipation of a new season.

I love the first signs of spring, with white buds, green shoots and new growth, earthy colours and crisp aromas – you’ll love this issue that shows the beauty of botany!
