Autumn Beaches Scarf by Valerie Bracegirdle

Inspired by the sands on British beaches, this scarf is made in yarn reminiscent of ripples of sand formed by the tide.
Pattern featured in issue 69 of Inside Crochet magazine.
MATERIALS
â— Yarns from the Plain Mobberley DK, 70% wool/ 30% alpaca, 100g/250m/273yds
Shade: Malted Chocolate x 1 skein
â— 4mm hook
â— Yarn needle
YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any DK weight yarn to achieve a similar effect.
TENSION
Each motif measures approximately 12 x 12cm/4½ x 4½in after blocking, using 4mm hook or size required to obtain tension.

Length: 190cm/75in.
Width: 12cm/4½in.

PATTERN NOTES
The motifs are joined as you go by slip stitching in three different places along one side.
When joining motifs, for a neat finish do not sl st to join rnd 5, instead sew the last st.
