Beach Mat

Heading for the coast? This mat can be rolled up and takes up very little space in your beach bag, providing a soft surface on which to stretch out and relax.

MATERIALS
● Rico Design Creative Cotton Aran, 100% cotton, 50g/85m/93yds
Yarn A: White 080 x 4 balls
Yarn B: Candy Pink 064 x 4 balls
Yarn C: Turquoise 36 x 1 ball
● 5mm hook
● Locking stitch marker

YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any aran weight cotton yarn to achieve a similar effect.

TENSION
Work 15 sts and 7 rows in pattern to measure 10 x 10cm/ 4 x 4in using 5mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.

MEASUREMENTS
Finished mat is 50cm/19¾in wide by 105cm/41¼in long, including edging.
