This pretty tote bag is practical and versatile too, worked in a hardwearing cotton yarn in bright and cheery colours!
MATERIALS
â— DMC Natura XL, 100% cotton, 100g/75m/82yds
Yarn A: Cream 31 x 6 balls
â— DMC Natura Medium, 100% cotton, 50g/75m/82yds
Yarn B: Denim Blue 77 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Deep Lilac 06 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Red 55 x 1 ball
Yarn E: Yellow 09 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Green 08 x 1 ball
â— 7mm hook for bag
â— 4mm hook for flowers
â— Stitch marker
â— Glue gun (optional)
YARN ALTERNATIVES
Any super chunky weight cotton yarn can be used for the bag and any DK/aran weight yarn for the flowers.
TENSION
Work 12 sts and 9.5 rows in pattern to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 7mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
MEASUREMENTS
Finished bag is 36cm/14¼in wide and 30cm/12in high.
