This cute little bag is inspired by the fresh colour palettes and optimism of the 1950s. It is whimsical, playful and designed to make you smile.
MATERIALS
â— The Mercerie DK Merino, 100% wool, 50g/96m/106yds
Yarn A: Cloud x 2 balls
Yarn B: Sunshine x 2 balls
Yarn C: Powder Pink x 1 ball
Yarn D: Coco x 1 ball
Yarn E: Forgetmenot x 1 ball
â— 4mm & 3mm hooks
â— Pair of large round wooden bag handles, 18cm/7in in diameter
YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any DK weight Merino yarn to achieve a similar effect.
TENSION
Each individual crochet square should measure 7.5 x 7.5cm/3 x 3in using 4mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
MEASUREMENTS
The finished bag will measure approx 30 x 30cm/12 x 12in excluding handles.
