This cheery picnic blanket saves space when out and about by doubling up as a fun game to entertain the tots!

MATERIALS

• Rowan Pure Wool, Worsted, 100% wool, 100g/200m/219yds

Yarn A: Olive 125 x 7 balls
Yarn B: Soft Cream 102 x 4 balls
Yarn C: Buttercup 132 x 5 balls
Yarn D: Oxygen 137 x 5 balls
Yarn E: Papaya 135 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Mallard 144 x 1 ball

• 6mm & 6.5mm hooks

YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any aran weight superwash wool to achieve a similar effect.

TENSION
Exact tension is not critical for this project.

MEASUREMENTS
Finished blanket measures 90 x 160cm/35 x 63in.
