â— Stylecraft Special DK, 100% acrylic, 100g/295m/322yds
Yarn A: Graphite 1063 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Grey 1099 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Silver 1203 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Gold 1709 x 1 ball
Yarn E: Khaki 1027 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Magenta 1084 x 1 ball
Yarn G: Burgundy 1035 x 1 ball
â— Stylecraft Life 4ply, 75% acrylic/25% wool, 100g/450m/492yds
Yarn H: Silver Grey 2341 x 1 ball
â— 4mm & 5.5mm hooks
YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any DK weight yarn, with 4ply yarn for the last round of the edging, to achieve a similar effect.
TENSION
Work 3 blocks and 6 rows in pattern to measure 8 x 8cm/3 x 3in using 5.5mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
MEASUREMENTS
Finished shawl is 170cm/67in wide and 75cm/29½in deep.
