Lochside Cushion Cover by Becca Parker

A striking cushion cover with geometric stripes worked in the Apache Tears stitch pattern. The colour palette and stripes are inspired by the dramatic autumn landscape of the Highlands.

MATERIALS

* West Yorkshire Spinners Retreat Chunky Roving, 100% Bluefaced Kerry Hill wool, 100g/140m/153yds

Yarn A: Tranquil 341 x 2 balls

Yarn B: Ponder 393 x 2 balls

Yarn C: Quiet 1015 x 2 balls

* 8mm hook

* Three wooden buttons, 3cm/1¼in diameter

* Yarn needle

* Cushion pad, 40 x 40cm/ 16 x 16in


YARN ALTERNATIVES

You can use any chunky weight yarn with a high wool content to achieve a similar effect.
