Simple and stylish, these cushions are made using double crochet, a basic stitch which will allow you to relax and enjoy making without a complex pattern to follow.

MATERIALS

* Stylecraft ReCreate, 40% wool/30% acrylic/30% polyester, 100g/350m/383yds

Yarn A: Dijon 1947 x 3 balls

Yarn B: Sky 1946 x 2 balls

* 3.5mm hook

* Six buttons, 2cm/¾in diameter

* Two cushion pads, 30 x 30cm/12 x 12in

YARN ALTERNATIVES

You can use any DK weight yarn to achieve a similar effect. Of the three balls of yarn A, two are needed for the plain cushion and one for the striped.
