Blaze a trail in this crocheted poncho – thick and warm, it’s perfect for spring and cooler weather all year round.

MATERIALS
● Wendy Merino DK, 100% wool, 50g/116m/126yds
Shade: Periwinkle 2385 x 22 balls
● 5mm hook
● Stitch marker
● Yarn needle
● Three round buttons, approx 2.5cm/1in diameter
● Sewing needle and thread to match yarn

YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any DK weight wool yarn to achieve a similar effect.

TENSION
Work 16 sts and 19 rows in textured pattern to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 5mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.

MEASUREMENTS
Finished poncho measures 150 x 100cm/59 x 39½in.
