A simple spring sweater inspired by the colours of the sunset and night sky.
MATERIALS
â— Jarol Heritage DK,
55% wool/25% acrylic/ 20% nylon, 100g/250m/273yds
Yarn A: Charcoal 138 x 3(4, 4, 5) balls
Yarn B: Gold 140 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Spice 150 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Magenta 143 x 1 ball
Yarn E: Damson 135 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Burgundy 153 x 1 ball
â— Sirdar Snuggly DK, 55% nylon/ 45% acrylic, 50g/165m/179yds
Yarn G: Pretty Coral 456 x 1 ball
(Small amounts only needed of yarns B–G)
â— 4mm hook
YARN ALTERNATIVES
You can use any DK weight yarn to achieve
a similar effect. The graduated yoke is perfect for using up leftover
yarns and could be worked in a variety of DK wool mixes.
TENSION
Work 17tr and 10 rows to measure 10 x 10cm/4 x 4in using 4mm hook, or size required to obtain tension.
