Simple granny squares can be extremely versatile when thought of as “squares with holes” – the centre of the square works perfectly as a thumbhole in these cosy mitts.


MATERIALS

• Herdywool, 100% wool, 100g/105m/115yds

Yarn A: Grey x 1 ball

Yarn B: Orange x 1 ball

• 6.5mm hook

• Yarn needle

• Stitch marker


YARN ALTERNATIVES

Unfortunately this yarn has been discontinued. Substitute with any pure wool chunky weight yarn, such as Cascade Yarns 128 or West Yorkshire Spinners Re:treat.
