Tryfan Scarf by Rhian Drinkwater

Find the pattern in 143 of Inside Crochet magazine.

This chunky scarf will keep you cosy through winter, and will work up fast on a 12mm hook.

MATERIALS

• Debbie Bliss Paloma Tweed, 50% alpaca/30% wool/ 14% acrylic/6% viscose, 50g/65m/71yds

Shade: Willow 03 x 4 skeins

• 12mm hook

• Yarn needle

• Blocking mats and pins

YARN ALTERNATIVES

The Paloma Tweed has been discontinued, but any chunky weight yarn would work well for this design. A chainette yarn such as Debbie Bliss Paloma will help ensure the finished scarf is not too dense or heavy.
