The Fallen Leaves Issue
Autumn is a beautiful time of year, a season to be outside enjoying all the colours, sights, smells and textures nature has to offer. It is the perfect time to head out into the garden and get dirty, clearing away the summer's spent blooms, readying the soil for winter colour. If gardening isn't your thing, then long walks, crunching through fallen leaves and searching for glossy brown conkers should appeal.
Inside this issue
All this planned outdoorsiness means that warmer attire is definitely on the menu. Vicki Brown's socks on are perfect for pulling on with your wellies when digging in the garden or trudging through muddy fields, while this month we also have an abundance of cardigans, scarves and sweaters that will keep you cosy as the temperature begins to slide.
Our absolute favourite project this issue is one for the kids. Annelies Baes's adorable knight has a suit of armour that is beautifully detailed. We can't help but smile when we see his movable visor and cute blue booties, and we have found that children love to steal his sword and challenge him to duels!
While the children are busy jousting with Sir Lancelot, we have already earmarked Kath Webber's stunning fringed handbag for our next project. This simple but stylish accessory will be perfect for everyday wear this autumn, worn across the body to carry all the essentials while on a long walk or a trip to the farmer's market.
