The Glorious Colour Issue
Autumn is definitely underway now, and though we're always sorry to say goodbye to summer, we do love to see the gorgeous colours of the trees as the leaves start to fall, as well – of course – as the opportunity to dig out plenty of handmade jumpers, cardigans and scarves!
Inside this issue
We've got some gorgeous autumn makes for you this issue as well, from Catherine Waterfield's stunning granny square jumper on page 36 to the amazing Tunisian colourwork scarf on page 52. Or if you're after something seasonal that you can hook in an evening, then turn to page 54 for our gorgeous acorn necklace design. Though a particular favourite this month is Emma-Jayne McKenzie's lovely Lighthouse Shawl on page 58, with its clever design moving from striped lighthouse to scalloped sea waves.
It's no secret we're big fans of hand-dyed yarns, so we were delighted to interview some of our favourite dyers for our feature on page 84. Hand-dyed yarn really does add an extra-special personal touch to a project. Finally, this month we're publishing the last part of our mystery crochet-along turn to page 26 for the final section of Sarah Shrimpton's gorgeous shawl design. We can't wait to see everyone's finished projects!
