* DK yarn, 50g
Yarn A: Navy Blue x 1 ball
Yarn B: Sea Green x 1 ball
Yarn C: Pale Blue x 1 ball
Yarn D: Pink x 1 ball
Yarn E: Dusty Yellow x 2 balls
Yarn F: Sky Blue x 1 ball
Yarn G: Red x 1 ball
* 4ply yarn, 50g
Yarn H: Pale Blue x 1 ball
Yarn I: Silver x 1 ball
* 2.5mm & 3.5mm hooks
* Three paper drinking straws
* Cardboard
* Lightweight cotton fabric, 45 x 40cm/17¾ x 15¾in
* Mini bobble trim or ric rac
* Bead
* Duct tape
* Craft knife
* Fabric glue
* Hot glue gun
Yarn Alternatives
A bamboo/wool mix yarn works wonderfully well in this project as its sheen makes the boat look as though it has just had a fresh coat of paint!
