Jazz up foam clogs for the summer with these pretty crocheted flowers. 

Materials

* Small amounts of any 4ply-weight or light DK-weight cotton yarn in colours of your choice

* 3mm & 3.5mm hooks

* Flat buttons, 12mm/½in diameter 

* Sewing needle andstrong thread

* Seed beads to decorate (optional) 

Yarn Alternatives

Any light DK-weight or 4ply-weight cotton could be used here – this is a perfect project for using up odds and ends from your stash. The flowers pictured use Sirdar Cotton DK in Sundance 507 and Honeysuckle 508; Bergère de France Coton Fifty in Coco 22493, Bengale 24660 and Ficelle 23906; Rowan Siena 4 ply in Sloe 670 and Patons 100% Cotton 4 Ply in Kiwi 1703.
