Inspired by the “Contemporary” style that dominated interiors of the 1950s, here is a stylish cushion that would look good in any modern setting.

Materials

* Debbie Bliss Mia, 50% wool/50% cotton, 50g/100m/109yds
Yarn A: Ecru 02 x 6 balls
Yarn B: Corn 14 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Sky 04 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Robin Egg 05 x 1 ball
Yarn E: Mallard 18 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Silver 22 x 1 ball
Yarn G: Duck 06 x 1 ball

* 4.5mm hook

* Yarn needle

* Zip, 46cm/18in long

* Sewing needle

* Sewing thread to match zip

Yarn Alternatives

You can use any soft DK-weight cotton or wool/cotton mix to achieve a similar effect.
