This is a cute and simple bag that creates a natural, mesh-like fabric, perfect for embellishing with a ribbon. 

Materials

* Aran weight cotton yarn, 100g
Yarn A: Navy x 1 ball
Yarn B: Cream x 1 ball (or Orange x 2 balls, for a one-colour bag)

* 5mm hook

* Ribbon, 140cm/55in long

* Yarn needle 

Yarn Alternatives

You can use any DK to aran-weight cotton or cotton mix yarn to achieve a similar effect. Lion Brand Kitchen Cotton would work perfectly.

Rnd 4: 2ch, htr in same st, 6htr, 3htr in next htr, 28htr, 2htr in next htr, 6htr, 3htr in next htr, 28htr, join rnd with sl st – 78htr.

Bag body
