Fruit & Veg Plant Sticks

These fun sticks are ideal for seed pots – mark the day the seeds were planted, or add a personalised message if planting as a gift!
Materials
* DMC Petra No 3, 100% cotton, 100g/280m/306yds
Yarn A: Red 5321 x 1 ball
Yarn B: Brown 5938 x 1 ball
Yarn C: Green 5907 x 1 ball
Yarn D: Ecru x 1 ball
Yarn E: Orange 5608 x 1 ball
Yarn F: Yellow 5742 x 1 ball
(Note: Only small quantities are needed of each colour)
* 2.75mm hook
* Plastic seed sticks, approx 15cm/6in long
* Brown and white seed beads
* Sewing needle and thread
* Hot glue gun
* Paper and double-sided tape
* Spray starch
Yarn Alternatives
You can use any 4ply-weight cotton to achieve a similar effect.
