Yarn Alternatives
This design would work well in a heavy 4ply/sportweight to light DK-weight wool yarn. If using a self-striping yarn for the contrast stripes, choose one with long colour changes so you can work whole rows in one shade. If using separate yarns for stripes, less than 50g is needed of each colour.
We’ve also shown a version of the cardigan using Kauni Unicolor in Oatmeal NN3 as yarn A, with oddments of shades Turquoise YY1 (yarn B), Pink JJ4 (yarn C), Yellow KK2 (yarn D), Red MM2 (yarn E), Orange QQ (yarn F), Green RR (yarn G) and Lilac JJ2 (yarn H) to create the stripes.
